Terms of Use

Last updated August 12, 2026

These terms govern your use of the StackCredits website (the "Site"), operated by the StackCredits team ("we", "us"). By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

The Site publishes information about third-party startup credit, grant and discount programs, and offers a free service in which we review the information you send us and suggest which programs you may be eligible for. That is the entire scope of what we provide.

2. What the Site is not

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an agent, reseller or authorised partner of any provider listed on the Site, unless a specific partnership is explicitly stated on the relevant page. Provider names and program names are used for identification and descriptive purposes only, and remain the trademarks of their respective owners.

We do not issue credits. We do not sell, resell, broker, transfer or trade credits, licences or program entitlements. Any credits you receive are issued directly to you by the provider, under the provider's own terms, and your relationship regarding those credits is with the provider alone.

Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice.

3. Accuracy of program information

Program terms, credit amounts, eligibility rules and expiry windows are set by the providers and change without notice. We compile information from providers' official pages and from public sources, and we label each entry to show which of the two it is. We make reasonable efforts to keep entries current, but we do not warrant that any entry is complete, accurate or up to date at the moment you read it.

Before applying to any program you must confirm the current terms on the provider's own official page, which we link from every entry. Your application, and every representation you make in it, is your own responsibility.

4. No guarantee of outcome

Approval decisions rest solely with each provider. We do not guarantee that you will be accepted into any program, that you will receive any particular amount, or that any amount will remain available. Any figure described on the Site as a ceiling, maximum or "up to" amount is the provider's published upper bound, not an expected or typical outcome.

5. Your obligations

When you use the Site or send us information, you agree that:

  • the information you provide about your company is truthful and accurate;
  • you will not use the Site to obtain credits by misrepresenting your company, its funding, its age, its location or its activities;
  • you will not submit applications for entities you are not authorised to represent;
  • you will not scrape, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the database for a competing commercial service without our written permission;
  • you will comply with each provider's terms, including any restriction on holding multiple accounts or claiming a program more than once.

We may decline to work with anyone we reasonably believe is misrepresenting their company to providers.

6. Our content

The text, structure, compilation and presentation of the database and the guides on the Site are ours or our licensors'. You may read, quote and link to them with attribution. You may not copy the database as a whole, or a substantial part of it, for republication.

7. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites, including provider application pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost credits, lost opportunities, or costs arising from a rejected or expired application, from reliance on program information published on the Site, or from any provider's decision or conduct. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for the free Site is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud.

9. Changes and availability

We may update the Site, the database and these terms at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. We may suspend or withdraw the Site, in whole or in part, without notice.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms: partnership@stackcredits.com. Registration details of the operating entity, and the governing law that follows from them, will be published on this page.
